I am lost and overwhelmed with OSCE, not really knowing where and how to start but Kristine and AuRNpathway have boost my confidence and helped me thru my journey. Kristine had been so responsive with all my questions and queries. I even remember heaps of late night occasions wherein I message her to ask some silly questions that pops in my head about the procedures and she manage to answer me back. Thank you Kristine. You became my last minute “Saviour”. I was enrolled with another preparation center which couldn’t adjust F2F classes for me as I was flying to my home country on the exact date they were starting their F2F classes for Sydney students. I requested them for a better option but couldn’t get one. So I researched and found Kristine, and explained to her about my situation. She was happy to enroll me for 3 days of F2F classes. I erased whatever I was taught before and started following Kristine. She continuously guided and encouraged me throughout my OSCE journey. Just within 10 days after 3 days of F2F classes, I was able to pass my OSCE. Proper guidance and hardwork are the keys to conquer the OSCE. Four months before my OSCE exam, I bought the book “Clinical Psychomotor Skills by Tollefson and Hillman". The book was very informative, I invested time to study it sincerely on my rest days and during breaks at work. I studied it in conjunction with various video resources on YouTube.

I finished the book but I realized however that because the OSCE exam assesses competence through simulated clinical environment, studying through reading and watching videos isn’t enough. I needed actual practice and professional feedback.

I prayed about it and I thank God for leading me to AuRN Pathway. I can tell that the self paced modules were designed for working nurses who don’t have the luxury of time to sit in for a month in a training centre. The content of the clinical skills videos were superlative compared to those found on YouTube. The zoom sessions were very informative and even thought there were times when I can’t attend because of work, I was able to access the zoom records sessions anytime.

I was very impressed by the dedication of Ms. Kristine Enrico Dawang because her feedbacks were given promptly and professionally. I attended the face to face training in Australia a few days before my actual exam, and this played a vital role in bridging the gap between my knowledge and performing the simulated clinical skills. I received the result a week before Christmas and was informed that I successfully passed the OSCE exam.
